Light Carmine Red Metallic exterior with Black stripe, code correct Black vinyl interior, Black convertible top. Numbers matching 300hp 350ci engine, 4 speed manual transmission. This '69 convertible is in excellent condition, and comes with the desirable 4 speed and sidepipes. Assembled on November 21, 1968, this Corvette Convertible looks to have had much recent work done to it. Paint is probably a few years old, appearing to be in very good condition, with few flaws and an excellent shine. Stripes appear to have been painted on and cleared over. Original exterior color code is 983. Convertible top looks to be brand new and is excellent with an excellent window. Chrome bumpers front and rear appear to be recent reproduction units, and are in excellent condition with no scratches, scuffs, or other signs of wear. Chrome exterior door handles might be original, but have strong return springs and no finish issues. Taillights are very good to excellent with no cracks, and the weatherstripping appears to be original, showing some wear. A set of correct 1969 style sidepipes are on this car, and have been painted a medium shade of gray. Correct width rally wheels are in excellent condition, and wear trim rings and center caps in very good condition with no dings or dulling of the finish. A set of Hoosier GT Radial raised white letter tires are mounted, and look to be nearly new with approximately 90% treadlife remaining. Luggage rack is in very good condition with no pitting, dings, or other problems. The interior of this 1969 Corvette Convertible is in excellent condition, and is spotlighted by a WORKING FIBER OPTICS SYSTEM!! The clock works as well, and the seat covers and carpet look to be brand new with no apparent wear. Gauges are in very good condition with clear lenses and little to no fading, and the original AM/FM radio is in place and still works. Correct GM seatbelts are also present, and the dash pad is in very good condition with no cracks. Center console is good to very good with minor signs of a previous repair; door panels look to be original, but are in good condition with no major flaws. A set of aftermarket speakers have been installed on top of the rear storage bins. The engine compartment of this 1969 Corvette Convertible has been very nicely detailed and painted, and is ready to show. The original engine shows a casting date of October 4, 1968, and has its correct ignition shielding, intake manifold, and exhaust manifolds in place. The quadrajet carburetor shows what appears to be a remanufactured stamp number. A chrome air cleaner with the Chevrolet nameplate has been added to this car as well, and the frame is clean and rust-free.
