1965 Corvette Convertible Fueile. Milano Maroon with maroon interior. Numbers matching 327/375hp Fuel Injected connected to a 4 speed close ratio (M21) transmission.
This is a great find! Only 771 corvettes had the 327/375hp fuel injected engine, and the maroon/maroon was exclusive to 1965. This was the last year for fuelies until the crossfire on the 1982. The birth of the 396 sealed the fate of this high revving small block.
Inside you will find an AM/FM radio with the original power antenna, the comfort and convenience group, both hard and soft tops, and tinted glass. The interior is in outstanding condition.
This appears to be an older body on restoration, but when you see this car in person, you would think it had a body off done. The engine bay is detailed with the 7380 injection unit, ignition shielding, hoses, lines, air cleaner, clamps all in great condition. The engine starts easy and drives great.
Great ownership history. When Roy Sinor (NCRS judging chairman) was asked if he had $100,000 to spend on a corvette, what would he buy, he named the 1965 fuelie his pick. He said that these have no where to go but up in value. Who are we to argue? This one has been deemed authentic by corvette experts! What more could you ask for?
