| 1960 Chevrolet Corvette. This is an early '60 built in fall of '59. White with silver coves and a black interior with a white soft top. It's a four-speed with the 245hp dual quads. The frame is excellent on this car and the body is outstanding. The car was restored professionally. The paint is excellent, the chrome is nearly perfect, and interior is not worn. It is a numbers matching motor with a correct B-W 4-spd and correct dual Carters. The engine pad is F0930CT and the block date code is I 22 9. It runs, rides, steers, and stops like a solid-axle corvette should. The engine compartment is nice, but not highly detailed.
The car needs very little, but I'll tell you its flaws. It appears to have been a two top car and the hardtop is gone. The interior, although spotless, has replacement door panels and they are semi-custom with pleated inserts. You can easily replace the pleated inserts with the correct metal inserts. All gauges work, including the Wonderbar, but not the clock. The front emergency brake cable and interior handle need to be replaced (it currently has an incorrect handle). The top frame is very nice and so is the top, but it does have one small hole and the rear weatherstrip is weak.
As you can see in one of the interior photos, there is a set of sunshades on the passenger floor. They go with the car. The car has the courtesy light, too.
The fit and finish of the fiberglass body are outstanding on this car. Doors, hood, and trunk open and close nicely and fit properly. Brakes, clutch, trans, motor, front end, rear end all operated flawlessly. The wide whites are U.S. Royal, the Wonderbar was rebuilt to get FM, all lights and blinkers work, but it will need new horns. Thanks. John
