Numbers matching 350hp 327ci engine, 4 speed manual transmission. This may very well be one of the best values Buyavette has ever had to offer! The lacquer paint is very nice on this car and shows minimal blemishes. Body gaps are also very good on this car. Convertible top is newer and shows a clear window. Weatherstripping looks to be original, and therefore we are recommending new rubber. Chrome bumpers are in good shape with no rust or dings. Door handles appear original and function well. One of the tailights shows a crack; replacements are very affordable starting at around $10. Reproduction knockoff style wheels are currently mounted, and are in good shape with no dings or major pitting. A set of nearly new whitewall radial tires are mounted on the knockoffs. Interior on this car is very nice, with excellent seat covers and correct loop carpet. Gauges look to be original, and even the clock works! Original GM seatbelts are also in place, as well as the original AM/FM radio. Dash pad is nice with no cracks, and the door panels are in great shape as well. Original steering wheel is also in good shape with no cracks. Engine compartment shows the optional 350hp engine, complete with correct finned valve covers and ignition shielding. A newer Carter AFB carburetor is mounted to the GM intake, which shows a correct 350hp casting number of 3890490. The block itself shows correct casting number 3858174, and a date code of I205, which corresponds to September 20, 1965. A set of headers has been added at some point, and the alternator appears to be a remanufactured unit, not showing a casting number. Radiator is a Harrison unit. Please note that this car has a state-issued VIN tag from Ohio featuring what we believe to be the correct original VIN number. Trim tag is also missing.
