Assembled on November 19, 1965, this eye-catching 1966 Corvette Convertible has been nicely restored, and is ready to show or drive with COLD FACTORY STYLE AIR CONDITIONING!! Paint on this car looks to be a few years old, but is nonetheless in very good to excellent condition with a very nice shine and very, very few flaws. Convertible top is brand new and in excellent condition with a clear window. A set of Knockoff style wheels have been added, and are in excellent condition with excellent condition spinners. These wheels are wrapped with Firestone FR440 whitewall radial tires, which show roughly 90% treadlife remaining. A set of factory style sidepipes have also been added for that classic 1960s V8 rumble. Taillights are in excellent condition with no cracks, and the weatherstripping appears to be newer as well and is also in excellent condition. Chrome bumpers look to be new and are excellent with no flaws to speak of; chrome exterior door handles are excellent as well. The interior of this 1966 Corvette Convertible shows very good condition leather seat covers, center console, dash pads, and steering wheel. Carpet is correct loop style, and looks to be newer with very little wear and no apparent fading. Original gauges are in good unrestored condition. Clock is currently working and appears to have a quartz movement installed. The original engine in this 1966 Corvette Convertible shows casting date October 20, 1965, and still wears its correct intake manifold with a newer style Holley carburetor. Ignition shielding is in place, as are correct spring type hose clamps, and even the original canister style oil filter system. Both the engine compartment and rust-free frame have been nicely detailed. Only 3,520 1966 Corvettes came with factory air conditioning, and we're willing to bet that most of those were not Rally Red 4 speed convertibles -- call us now before this rare car gets picked up by someone else!
