A complete mechanical inspection performed in 2006 replaceing any part in need of replaced. About 900 miles on it since then with 61,800 ORIGINAL MILES. Original Florida car, now in the Midwest. LeMans Blue lacquer repainted about 7 years ago and looks great, no cracks or checks. All fiberglass panels are original. A very original car bearing the original engine and trans, radiator, expansion tank, starter, etc... New parts where it counts, New interior, Carpet, Seats, Seat foam, Door panels and Radio. I kept all the parts I replaced which go to the new owner. Everything is documented with photos and pencil impressions in a 2" thick book that also goes to the new owner. All interior components are circa 1968. The original lenses and fiber optics all function today as they did back in 1968, including the clock. The optional 327cid/350hp is solid, both the engine and trans were pulled in 2006 mainly to detail the engine compartment and repaint the engine. While out, gaskets were replace along with new timing gears & chain. This was the last year for the 327 engine with the optional 350hp, (HT code) and this one also has the, "camel hump heads," and equipped with all the factory chrome, oil cap, air cleaner, valve covers, full ignition shielding, it even has the original air pump which is installed and working. Rear bumpers were re-chromed, all other chrome was buffed or replaced as needed. The chassis components are original with the exception of shocks, leaf bushings, rear transmission mount and motor mounts. In 2006, when the engine and trans were out, I also installed a new clutch, pressure plate, throw-out bearing and the correct dated flywheel was resurfaced. New brakes, calipers and pads along with new battery, complete exhaust system, all hoses, belts, weather striping and the thermostat, just to name a few. Has the original, one-year-only, correct 7" Rally rims equipped with correct center caps. New Firestone Indy Firehawk radial tires for great handling and a smooth ride. Glass is the original factory installed, including the windshield. Always stored winters and under cover when not in use. Color code 976 LeMans Blue Paint with code 414 Medium Blue Interior, L79 327ci 350 hp., M20 4-speed manual transmission, Power Windows, A82 Headrests "Rare Option" only 3,197. A85 Shoulder Belts "Very Rare Option" only 350 had Shoulder Belts. Power Brakes, Power Steering, A very original corvette with some rare options that just continues to go up in value. All documentation is included with the sale, including the original owner’s manual.
