| Here's a clean 1979 Corvette in good working order. It would make a nice "fun car" for the right owner. The paint is glossy (It was repainted a few years ago). There are a few tiny dots on the body that appear to be dust or water that was in the paint. There are minor blemishes in the body that would be typical for any car of it's age...a small crack in the fiberglass here and there, but they are tiny. All emblems are original, so they are a bit oxidized and could stand to be replaced for cosmetics. The car has been garage kept. The original wheels are in great shape. The 350 crate motor was put in 5 years ago, just prior to the owner's death, so there are only 690 miles on the new engine. It has a Holley Street Avenger Carb, electric fan, new battery. All lights, turn signals, power windows, power locks, and wipers work. The car has digital gauges installed, as well as a Pioneer AM/FM/Cassette Stereo. The interior has been converted to black cloth and all dash panels/components are now matching black. I believe that the rear fascia and tail lamps are also an aftermarket addition, but I have no details there...other than it looks good! I have both sets of T-Tops for this car, painted and glass. The brakes and steering are in good shape and the car runs and drives fine, so it would make a nice turn-key car for some fun driving! |
