Black exterior (originally Medium Blue Metallic), Saddle leather interior (originally Blue leather), Black convertible top. 240hp L98 engine, automatic transmission, posi rear-end. This is a great starter Vette for someone on a budget that doesn't mind getting their hands a little dirty! Paint looks to be newer, and is actually a pretty good job with minimal orange peel. However, the prep work was not as good as the paint job -- there are several obvious large spots in the hood that have been filled in and painted where hood scoops once were. Additionally, there is a 2 inch chip in the paint on the hood, a crack in the paint on the rear bumper, and a scrape on the passenger fender. BRAND NEW emblems have been installed, both front and rear! Although it does not look to be torn anywhere, the convertible top is a little faded and the rear window has succumbed to the Georgia sun and is no longer clear. The original 16 inch wheels have been replaced by a set of painted ZR1 style 17 inch wheels, which are in relatively nice shape with some minor curb rash. 275/40/17 Yokohama AVS ES100 tires are mounted in the rear, and show about 40% treadlife; brand new Ventus K104 tires sit up front, but are not the correct size. The weather stripping on the car is in surprisingly good condition; a-pillar seals are soft and intact, and so are the window sweeps! There is no weather stripping attached to the doors at this time. Interior shows a few issues as well, as it is an obvious dye job; however, the carpet is brand new, and looks nice. Seats do not show any cracking or splitting of the leather, although they look to have been dyed as well. Seatbelts have not been dyed and are the original Blue color. Steering wheel is in overall poor condition; its leather cover has gotten hard and brittle, and is cracked and even broken off in a few spots. The digital display for the instrument cluster appears to be in good working order. Center console is in fair condition, although it has cracked around many of its mounting screws. Amazingly, the center console lid latches tight! An aftermarket molded plastic dashpad cover has been installed on top of the original, and is a little wavy around the defrost vent. The original Bose cassette stereo is gone, but has been replaced by a Pioneer CD stereo, model number DEH-10. Door panels are in overall good shape with new carpet, but the top trim piece has broken off on the passenger side. Underhood is mostly stock, with a few factory components removed; the ignition shielding is missing, as is the air pump. A delete bracket has been installed in place of the air pump to allow the serpentine belt to be routed accordingly. The original a/c compressor is still in place, and the alternator looks to be a newer remanufactured unit. A set of split rectangular exhaust tips have also been added at some point. The power antenna is not currently operating and is stuck in the "up" position. Factory features leather seating with power driver's, Bose cassette stereo, cruise control, electronic climate control, power door locks, power mirrors, power windows, power steering, power brakes, ABS. 105K. $7,900 or 20% down with payments as low as $136/month.
