1964 L75 Corvette Convertible project.  Convertible with factory AC, PS, PB,and 4 speed. Hardtop (soft top delete car)  Rare combination, great driver when done!!  Original down to the AM / FM radio.  (Note: ODO says 40k, I assume it's really 140K) Engine and Chassis numbers match.   Southern California car from Huntington Beach. I bought it years ago from a friend with the idea of doing a frame-off, had it stripped down, then bought a place here in East Tennessee and had to quickly reassemble to ship it here.   Now I find that I just don't have the energy to complete it and I need the space.  Time for it to find a new home.

Up for sale is my very well documented and equipped 1966 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible w/ Factory Air Conditioning, #'s matching, Two Top car and believed to be an accurate 57k miles, prior restoration in 2007/2008 and have a binder of receipts/docs/restoration photos, etc. of roughly $30k at that time. This is an original 327/300 HP numbers matching engine w/ a factory Powerglide Automatic transmission and a working factory A/C. Car is also equipped w/ Two Tops (white soft top and white hard top), power steering, Powerglide trans, power antenna, repro knock offs, correct size Coker Gold Line radials and rare White/Blue interior. Not sure where to start but this car is stunning and A VERY neat find. It is a spectacular and correct example. Must see the quality of this car. Engine pad reads (6107095 F1123HO). Believed to have 57,500 actual miles per prior owner. Retains the original body VIN and trim tag and colors correct. Build date code is D16, A.O. Smith body (Nov 16th, 1965) and the 7095th 1966 Corvette built. Correct color trim code is Ermine White (900CC Paint) w/ the rare White and Blue Vinyl interior (450 Trim). It was the 2,267th Convertible built (S2267 Body). The body lines, door and panel gaps, panel straightness and alignment excellent. Weatherstripping, chrome, brightwork and glass in excellent shape as well. All ignition shielding and distributor shielding intact. The radio and clock work great and the headlights open and close w/ ease. All interior lights work as well and in need of nothing. I have a reproduced copy of the window sticker showing a sales price of $5990.45 in 1966. Optioned with a White/Blue interior (450), 4 Season Air Conditioning (C60), Powerglide Transmission (M35), factory power steering (N40), both Ermine White Hard top (C07) and White Soft top (C05), Positrac (G81), tinted glass (A01) and Am/Fm radio (U69). The owners manual, binder of restoration docs/pics, jack, lug wrench, trickle charger and extra keys come w/ purchase. Has basically new reproduction knockoffs and excellent Coker Goldline radials. Great idle and car is tight and solid. This is a well preserved and investment grade car that has been in a climate controlled garage. Rare Ice Cold Air Conditioned midyear Vette and a highly sought after color combo. This is one of the best that don't come up for sale very often. Ready to go and if you don't want to have to go to work on one or restore one this is it. Go look at others and see what they need and what it would cost in time and $$ to get in this shape. SB crate motor has less than 1000 miles since installed. This car was born Nassau Blue w/ blue interior. It has been customized to resemble the 1966 Grandsport. Smooth nose (headlights in grille opening), flared wheel wells and Big Block hood. It has a new fuel pump, new clutch & pressure plate, new fuel tank and new tune-up, original Corvette valve covers, Hurst shifter. New Goodyear 215/R15 tires. Factory sidepipes, both tops, (Conv. top back window shot but top is fine).New seat covers. Original short block 300/327 matching numbers included in deal. SS Brake calipers. Walnut steering wheel, AM/FM Radio, Interior parts included but not installed are qtr. panels w/screws, radio panels w/screws, new sill plate screws, seat backs, chrome strips for top of seats. Included but NOT installed NEW: Al Knoch deluxe door panels, all door hardware provided: knobs, cranks, clips and screws to install door panels,complete carpet set, kick panels w/screws, deck lid trim strip. All new weatherstripping on doors, deck lid, hood, door drip mouldings and body pillars. Also included but not installed: new center armrest cover,new shifter boot w/hardware, new sun visors and new floor mats.

A proper “restomod” keeps the classic lines of an original car while fitting it with modern underpinnings, and this Marina Blue custom widebody Corvette is an excellent example of how we at Verrillo Motor Car envision the perfect restomod. Checking every box from reliability to comfort, this 1967 blurs the line between custom and modern, while never deviating from the original iconic look of a 1967 Corvette. This Corvette was built here at Verrillo Motor Car Company, under the direction of Joe Verrillo. If it weren't for the subtle widened body panels and the custom-built 18” Boze Polished wheels, a casual observer might even suspect it to be an original 1967 Big Block Corvette Coupe; that, however, could not be further from the truth. The body, finished in Code 976 Marina Blue with a white stinger hood, may look like a factory original Corvette going down the road, but as you look closer, you discover the body has been widened in both the front and the rear to accommodate larger 18” wheels and massive 295/35/18 (back) and 225/35/18 (front) tires.  Closer inspection yields larger C6 Corvette Z06 6-Piston brakes out front, with 4 piston brakes out back. The chassis of this car is a Street Shop Chassis, one of the leaders in the Corvette restomod chassis industry, fitted with a C4 Corvette suspension and a Hammerhead Billet Aluminum Rear Axle with a 3:55 ratio, Detroit Speed Rack and Pinion steering rack, stainless steel brake and fuel lines, and a removable crossmember. This chassis was built with mandrel-bent rails and has been finished in gloss black to perfection. The driveline is a totally custom setup that performs perfectly with hand-picked components chosen to work in harmony with one another. A Dart Big Inch small block aluminum head small block was chosen for this application, topped with a Dart high-rise aluminum intake manifold, aluminum water pump, flow-tested aluminum cylinder heads (with Scorpion roller-tipped rocker arms), a high-lift camshaft and crowned with Fi Tech Mean Street fuel injection unit. This combination makes a staggering 590 horsepower, flowing through Hedman Side Exhaust headers and exiting via custom-built fiberglass packed chambered side exhaust mufflers that produce a heart-pounding exhaust note. With a single tap of the key, the car fires up, and its electronic fuel injection system wakes the beast, maintaining proper air to fuel ratios and keeping the engine running crisply. 
With all this performance, we kept comfort in mind as well, adding Vintage Air air conditioning and a polished air compressor, ensuring a comfortable ride as you row through the gears of the Tremec 5-Speed TKO transmission. When you open the hood, you are greeted by a totally custom engine compartment with a smooth finished underhood displaying a white stinger that mirrors the one from the topside of the hood. A custom sheetmetal air cleaner (built To mimic the stinger hood), chrome plated hood latches and hood prop, chrome power brake booster and master cylinder, polished remote mount power steering reservoir, high-polished Dewitts big block aluminum radiator (with chrome dual electric cooling fan)s, ball-milled aluminum valve covers, billet aluminum engine pulleys and hoses neatly wrapped in aluminum coverings are all in display. 
As you step inside this restomod, you will find one of the most elegant interiors ever installed in a Corvette, with white headrest seats, Bright Blue dash pads, a custom center console with cup holder, Teakwood steering wheel, Bright Blue shoulder seat belts, custom Bright Blue shift boot, coordinating blue carpets, a factory-appearing radio with a USB port and modern speaker, and power windows. This interior, much like the exterior, does not veer far off the original GM design, but has all the “right additions” to make it one of the most luxurious and well-appointed interiors ever installed in a Corvette.

This car's paint is good-vg, with a great shine. Hood stinger has been painted White. Convertible top is vg, and all exterior glass shows a correct date code. Front bumpers show a good condition finish, with the rears showing an avg finish. Taillights are vg, and rally wheels are in place with vg trim rings and center caps. Blackwall radial tires show an average of 8/32nds tread depth remaining. The interior in this 1965 Corvette Big Block Convertible shows good condition seats, dash pods, steering wheel, and door panels, vg seatbelts, and good-vg carpet. A vintage Custom Auto Sound AM/FM/Cassette stereo has been added. The NOM 427ci engine in this car shows casting number 3935439, and original casting date March 8, 1968. Additions to this engine include a Holley carburetor, 1966 427ci intake manifold, chrome valve covers, chrome water outlet, long tube headers, chrome radiator cap with "HEARTBEAT" script, and a chrome flex fan.
