With much hesitation I am offering what could very well be the nicest most eye catching 64 coupe a person could find. The most common comments I get whenever I drive it or show it is "WOW, that is a BEAUTIFUL car!!!"
An all verified matching numbers Corvette with a very few blemishes. It looks better and is a nicer Corvette than when it rolled off the assembly line on 2-14-1964
Full owner history documentation which is a short one including the all of the original dealer paperwork including the sales order, all of the original owner's paperwork plus the NCRS Shipping Data report.
The original owner ordered the Corvette on 12-6-1963 and proudly took possession on 3-3-1964. The original owner drove it for 14 years putting 44,878 miles on it as verified by the odometer disclosure when he sold it on 12-6-1978. The second registered owner added it to his personal collection of 40 cars and kept it in his collection for 34 years and rarely if ever drove it. Second owner did a frame off restoration but kept much of the original interior, which is in great condition, in tact. The bumpers have never been rechromed but look great.
The original owners manual, warranty book and AM/FM radio operating instructions along with a notebook full of registrations from the previous owners of which there are only 3 (I am the fourth).
Just a couple of things to mention are:
Knock Off Wheels
Stainless steel exhaust
Uniroyal Tiger Paw radial tires with less than 1000 miles on them
New Date coded Delco Poly Tar maintenance free reproduction battery
All gauges, radio and clock work
Original ignition key
4 1964 Corvette Hubcaps included
I'll answer any questions that I can and if additional pictures are needed, let me know. She has been photographed from just about every angle.
Reason for selling: 71 years old and planning to downsize. I can only keep one classic and that is my wife's 57 Chevy that was her first car from 1966.
