The odometer reads 97,829 miles before full restoration. Look in the engine compartment and you will see it’s all there including the smog system. This LT-1 delivers the performance you might not expect. It is very fast! Run through the gears of its 4-speed transmission and you’re going to like what you feel. Guaranteed, you’ll have a big grin on your face. If you are more inclined to show your Corvette and get NCRS or Bloomington awards, this one is ready for that as well. The restoration is THAT GOOD! Also consider this. The build number on this Corvette is #553. Could this be the first LT-1 convertible built in 1972? Only 6,508 convertibles were built that year and very few were LT-1’s. We don’t know the answer but it would be a great research endeavor. Imagine its historical value if it was the first?
