Originally assembled on May 17, 1971, this 1971 Corvette Convertible is nicely optioned with both air conditioning and power steering, and is in very original condition as well. This car's odometer currently reads 40,467 miles; although we believe this mileage to be correct based on the overall presence and condition of original parts, the current title reads mileage exempt, and therefore it will be sold as such. However, it is important to note that the mileage has been documented through state inspections and detailed service records, providing a comprehensive record of the car's true mileage history. This car's paint appears to be original, from what we can tell. Convertible top is good-vg, and all exterior glass in this car shows a correct date code. Chrome bumpers, exterior door handles, and taillights all appear to be original. Correct original wheel covers are in place, and BF Goodrich Radial T/A raised white letter tires show an average of 10/32nds tread depth remaining. The interior of this 1971 Corvette Convertible looks to be nearly all original, with the exception of an added digital AM/FM radio. Steering wheel, carpet, dash pad, gauges, center console, and rear storage bins are all vg, and correct GM seatbelts are in good condition. The numbers matching 350ci engine in this car shows original casting date April 15, 1971, and final assembly date May 4, 1971. Correct air cleaner, carburetor, intake manifold, valve covers, ignition shielding, exhaust manifolds, alternator, and a/c compressor are all in place, and the frame is solid. Original Protect-O-Plate and owner's manual are included, along with owner history back to new, and receipts dating back to 2007. Chrome bumper C3s with this degree of originality don't come around often, call us while we have this one!

We are pleased to offer a special LT1 Coupe with 62K documented miles, clean history and an early NCRS Top Flight certification.  Only 1,949 LT-1s were made in 1971, which represents 8.9% pf production, this car being finished in Dec 1970. 
It is presently taken care of by a long time enthusiast who acquired it in early 2020.  Since then, a lot of work was done: replaced all rotors, pads and the front two calipers, the water pump, plugs, all fluids, bought 4 new tires, and refurbished the PO2 hubcaps (and added NOS nozzle extensions). The undercarriage and throughout the car was thoroughly detailed, so it always remains in show condition, but does get driven weekly if weather permits.   

Its owner states: "This is a very fun car to drive.  I did find out it takes on a different personality after 4,000 rpms when I was trying to outrun a rainstorm.  Those who are familiar with the LT-1 know the Zora Arkus-Duntov engine is what makes this car special."    Here are some of the highlights:

·        Solid lifters, 4-bolt main block, forged steel-alloy crank with a high-performance high-lift camshaft, Impacted-extruded aluminum alloy pistons and larger valve heads.
