396/425 Factory Correct Big Block

IMPORTANT DETAILS:  How often do you find a classic Nassau Blue 1965 Corvette Convertible with the 396c.i. engine option? Let me answer that for you. It doesn’t happen very often. 

The owner reports the replacement 396/425hp engine is a numbers-correct (3855962) block and is in excellent condition. 

It’s too bad the factory/dealer documents have long since disappeared. If you are familiar with 396 big block                                                        Corvettes, you know they have an access panel on the left front fender wheel well. You will see that panel on this Corvette. The owner reports all the body panels on his Vette appear to be original.

CONDITION RATING (6+): The owner said the overall cosmetic condition of his 1965 Corvette Convertible is very nice and rated it 6+ out of ten. It has the typical road rash and patina you would expect from Corvette that has been driven and enjoyed over the years.

Yes, both the paint and interior match the trim plate codes.

The owner reports all the switches and gauges work except the clock. The engine, transmission, differential, brakes, etc. are all in excellent operating condition.
