Asking price: $120000
This Collector Corvette is offered as a 4 year total frame off, nut and bolt restoration completed in 2017. I have owned this Corvette since November 05, 1968. It was garage stored for 37 years before starting the restoration. This is one of the more rare 1965 Vettes because of the 23,564 produced this car was 1 of 1,191 1965 convertibles painted Tuxedo Black Lacquer. About 1,200 were ordered with the hardtop only. Also, there were only 168 ordered with blackwall tires and I still have the original mounted blackwall spare. It is an all numbers matching Corvette and was ordered from the factory with the 327ci/350hp V8, M-20 manual 4-speed, four wheel disc brakes, matching hardtop only (no soft top or hardware). Options included Z01 day/night mirror with inboard backup lights and N11 welded off road exhaust system, blackwall tires, and radio delete. Many original parts were refurbished or rebuilt including the numbers matching motor, water pump, distributor, transmission, 3:55 rear end, door panels, dash pads, instrument cluster, seats, sunvisors, hardtop, and much more. Correct numbered, stamped, and date coded parts were used along with GM numbered and correctly marked hoses, clamps, and bolts. Harrison correct date coded radiator and expansion tank, Anderson gas tank, new correct loop carpet, new seat covers and backs, new console, etc. were also used. There are numerous photos, receipts, documents, and information on ownership and restoration. Only 5 miles are on the odometer from being driven on/off my enclosed trailer for car shows and cruise-ins since the restoration was completed.
