Engine is the original 327/250 and was never out of the car. It mated with the original Automatic Powerglide transmission. According to the available window sticker, other options include: Power Steering Power Brakes Tinted Glass Teak Steering wheel AM/FM radio 3.08 rear axle ratio Note that MSRP was $5040.30 (!) The only departure from stock are the updated Aluminum valve covers which replaced the factory orange painted steel ones, also, the Red line tires, not an option in 1965, but just a touch of cosmetic upgrade. Silver-Blue with Dark Blue interior: 327 / Powerglide Automatic - 85300 miles
1963 Corvette - NADA average value: $82,700. My Vette - $65,000 OBO Silver blue exterior shimmers with a dark blue interior and white convertible top. Of the total 1963 Corvettes built, 21,513 only 10,919 were convertibles. The top has a rip due to the frame and there are a few imperfections in the paint and a spot of the passenger door. The interior doors are original, with a faded blue carpet on the bottom of the doors. All of these can be adjudicated through the price negotiation. This 1963 Chevy Corvette is a corvette enthusiasts dream. Fun to drive. The 327 with Power-glide automatic transmission (M35) with 250 hp (only 2621 made) allows freedom from shifting while enjoying the ride. The power glide was limited to second-generation only. A full array of gauges keeps a comprehensive eye on the engine, and their bright stainless faces and slender needles are miniature works of art. The weight distribution has more than half the weight on the rear wheels, a first among modern American front-engine cars in 1963. That means hare-quick maneuverability when turning and cornering, plus improved traction. The center of gravity was dropped over 2 inches by using a ladder type frame instead of the X-frame that had been used previously. The new frame allowed passengers to sit inside of the frame instead of on top of it. The frame utilizes a ladder with 5 cross-members, and it is approximately 4 inches shorter than the 1962 frame. This allows the car’s weight to be lower but has an impressive 5 inches of ground clearance. The shorter wheelbase and a faster “Ball-Racing” steering system gives you an exhilarating ride every day. The small block, 327 cubic inch, 250-hp standard engine features a single 4-barrel carb, 4:11 rear gears, 10.5:1 compression ratio, hydraulic valve lifters and dual exhaust system allow for a quiet sporty ride. Silver-Blue ext. (Paint code 912A) with dark Blue interior. AM Radio (Trim code 490K) White Soft Top, manual lift. Spinners are nice quality hubcaps. The cast aluminum wheels with 6″ rims and knock-off hubs. The four-wheel independent suspension irons out even the rutted trails, keeps handling steady with hydraulic self-adjusting brakes for smoother stopping. The C2 Corvette became one of the most desirable – and most collectible – Corvettes of all, and none more so than the 1963 model year. Although the split window is unique for collectors, many drivers prefer the convertible. Car Life magazine presented its annual Award for Engineering Excellence on the 1963 Corvette Sting Ray.

Red with Red/White interior: 427 CID V8 / 4 Speed Manual - 2499 miles
Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to present this beautiful 1966 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible Restomod. Modern technology and vintage looks make for the best of both worlds in Resto Modding, especially it seems when the object of one’s creative urges is a mid-year Corvette. Whether in coupe or convertible form, the original Sting Ray body style is still as fresh and exciting today as it was when introduced in 1963; when retrofitted with modern powerplants, suspension, brakes, interiors, paint and wheel/tire combinations, the results can be spectacular. In the case of this 1966 Corvette convertible. The complete frame-off build began with the complete disassembly and preparation of the frame. All the seams were welded and the cleaned-up piece was powder coated Red for maximum durability and to match the car’s mouth-watering Red and White base/clear coat color scheme, including the Stinger stripe on the big-block hood. A 427 CI Generation 5 big block Merlin engine uses advanced Bigstuff3 electronic fuel injection to generate copious power through a close ratio M21 4-speed to a 4.11 rear end. Boyd Coddington 18-inch spoked alloy wheels are used in conjunction with power rack and pinion steering and custom Precision 4-wheel disc brakes, and shorter half shafts are employed to accommodate the car’s wider rear tires. With all those changes, the car’s appearance remains virtually stock, even in the factory-style side exhaust. That theme is maintained inside the very sharp White on Red cockpit, the only obvious changes being the leather wrapped billet steering wheel, Hurst shifter, White-faced gauges and billet pedals. A well done and very appealing mid-year Resto Mod. With cold blowing A/C this car is even great to cruise in on the hot summer days. Red with Black interior: 350 CID V8 / 4 Speed Manual - 81101 miles
Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is excited to present this beautiful red 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe for sale. This classic C3 is a great driver, powered by its 350 CID V8 and a smooth shifting 4-speed manual transmission. While the engine isn't original, the owner states that the transmission is the original. This quintessential "Little Red Corvette" is certainly going to turn some heads on the highway. The paint is in good condition, with only a few blemishes from its 54-year life showing. The chrome sparkles in the sunlight, and the glass looks great. Inside, some of the best smelling black leather upholstery you'll find covers the seats, and the black carpet looks great. Get in, fire it up, slip into first gear, and as you head down the road, you'll also appreciate the smooth ride that the P215/70R15 BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires provide. This 'Vette is one that you'll want to drive more frequently than you might think you were buying it to do with it! Tuxedo Black with Black interior: 396 CID V8 / 4 Speed Manual - 53777 miles
Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is excited to offer this big block 1965 Chevrolet Corvette for sale right now in our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. This '65 was the first year for a big block ‘Vette and the only year that a 396 CID V8 was put in a Corvette. The numbers matching (according to the seller) motor was rated at 425hp/415lb ft of torque and you'll never forget that as it is in scripture on top of the signature air cleaner painted in black. Solid lifters, forged pistons, a free-flow cast iron exhaust manifold and a Holley 4-bbl carburetor allowed for optimum performance compared with other Chevy big blocks of the time. To handle the extra 200lbs of weight that this motor gave the Vette, stiffer front springs and an anti-roll bar were installed while the stabilizer bar was widened and stiffened. A 4-speed manual transmission comes with this 1965 Corvette. Painted in “Tuxedo Black" with a black leather interior, you'll be blown away by the sound coming from the side-pipe exhaust- an option for these cars in '65- while the beautiful domed hood and the “Turbo Jet 396" badge on the front fenders lets everyone know you're driving a legend. This car features hub caps, which are rarely seen on these big block Corvettes. This 1965 Chevrolet Corvette for sale is one of 2,157 big block cars that were made in 1965. You certainly don't see these around every day and when you do, they draw a crowd! Jump on this rare classic Corvette before someone else does- in the age of the internet you want to be a buyer, not a thinker when you see an opportunity like this! Give our helpful and knowledgeable Sales staff a call at (623) 900-4884 or alternatively we will respond to any email inquiries sent to firstname.lastname@example.org
