1964 Convertible - Exceptionally nice Grand Sport Tribute

White/Blue with Blue interior: LT1 / 5-speed Tremec - 0 miles

In 1963, Zora Arkus Duntov secretly created the perfect race car known as “The Lightweight.” A more familiar name is the 1963 Corvette Grand Sport. Only five are believed to have been produced. The "Grand Sport" certainly holds a significant position in the Corvette’s history.

Thank you for stopping in to see this very impressive 1964 Grand Sport Tribute Roadster. It was custom built to resemble the famous Corvette Grand Sport race cars from that era specifically the George Wintersteen Grand Sport Roadster #002.

IMPORTANT DETAILS:
This is an actual 1964 Corvette (middle tub) with an original VIN Tag.

The custom tubular frame resembles the original Grand Sport and was built by L&J Chassis to accommodate a Corvette C4 suspension, brakes, rack & pinion steering, and differential (Dana® 36 Positraction with 3.54 gears).

In the engine bay, there is a familiar LT1 engine (355 ci.) rated at 400HP. It was built by The Balancing Act and features a 4-bolt main; a 600 CFM Holley double pump carburetor, and an aluminum LT1 Intake with a Pertronix® ignition and distributor (tach drive).

The Griffin Alum Radiator with a 16” electric fan keeps the engine running cool.

Managing all that performance is a new Tremec TKX 5-speed transmission.

The stainless steel Block Hugger Headers are connected to the classic 2.5” side pipes. As you would expect, the C2 side exhaust has that familiar throaty sound.

Yes, there is power steering and power brakes.

There are more details to share with you. Just give me a call or send a message.

Don’t miss the opportunity to put this outstanding George Wintersteen Grand Sport Tribute Roadster in your garage. It has never been tracked or raced and is a thrill to drive on country roads and highways.

1967 Convertible - 1967 RED CORVETTE L79 CONVERTIBLE

Red with White interior: L79 / 4-Speed Manual - 11495 miles

Red w/White interior, L79 327/350hp, 4-speed. manual transmission.

The ’67 was the last and considered by many to be the best of the mid-years! There were subtle changes made from the previous year. But they were enough to set the ’67 apart from the rest. The side gills were modified to a rectangular design, the backup light was changed to a center unit between the taillights, Rally and aluminum “Bolt on” style wheels were introduced, the parking brake was changed to a proper hand brake on the center console. And if big block power was your choice, there were no less than 5 different 427’s to choose from. Not to mention that legendary “Stinger” hood that came with it!

The very sharp ’67 featured here is a car that we sold the previous owner almost 30 years ago! When he purchased it, the car was painted in its original Sunfire Yellow color with Tuxedo (White/Black) interior and White soft top. But the decision was made back then to paint it Rally Red and replace the White interior and top with Black. When we re-purchased the car, we decided to leave the car Red, but put the interior and top back to its factory colors. So, that’s what we did! It now has a brand-new Tuxedo interior and White soft top! And we have to say, it looks fantastic!

Under the hood is a matching #’s L79 327/350hp small block, backed up with an M20 4-speed manual transmission. Other options include, AM/FM radio, side exhaust, and aluminum Bolt-on wheels wrapped in red line bias ply rubber. The car has just been serviced and is ready to go!

Documentation includes the owner’s kit and Tank Sticker and service receipts going back to the ’80’s!

1963 Coupe - Rare Saddle SWC, excellent and matching!

Saddle Tan with Saddle interior: 327 / 4-speed manual - 73000 miles

Welcome to THE VETTE NET, Nationwide and International Corvette Brokerage Network, your destination for selling and buying Corvettes, in business since 1998 and Lifetime Business Member of the National Corvette Museum.

It is hard to overestimate the significance of the 1963 Split Window Coupe... As the first major redesign, introducing the 2nd generation of Corvettes (1963-1967, later called the "Mid-years"), it stunned the automotive world with a sleek redesign and enhance performance. The claim to fame was the one-year only "Split-window" design, a feature that was later, in 1964, discontinued due to the limited rear visibility... This made it a desirable model throughout the years and the cornerstone of many collections.

We are pleased to bring to your attention a very fine example of the era, a Split Window Coupe dressed in beautiful Saddle-Tan paint with the matching Beige interior, all correct according to the trim tag. Power comes from the original matching numbers 327 engine, rated at 250 HP, as proven by the correct VIN and RC suffix present on the engine pad. It is now taken care of by its second owner for the last 5 years and miles are documented and actual at 73K presently.

Seller states the all is original and correct. In the last five years, during his ownership, a thorough refreshing was done to the tune of over $15,000: White line Coker tires, gas tank, all new suspension and bushings, joints, suspension, rebuilt original carburetor, new clutch, new brakes, new SS exhaust, new crank vent windows, new tags, radiator flushed... Now, everything is in functioning order, including AM/FM radio, except the clock which was rebuilt, but still not showing time. Paint is in exquisite condition and has no blemishes or signs of wear... Interior is mostly original with exception of some carpet areas. Options include Soft Ray windshield, positraction, AM/FM radio, White-wall tires...

Engine exhibits a lot of raw power, transmission shifts as it should, all gauges and instruments are functional, all in all, a great choice for a collection, also a civilized driver. Owner states that even at 100 degrees of Florida weather, it runs cool at 180, even in the stop-and-go traffic. It need nothing, but a new home!

It comes to you from FLORIDA and can be delivered nationwide and all over all the world. It is privately owned and sold and we assist with financing, leasing and Corvette trades.
