This model year has a lot of milestone features like the introduction of the largest displacement engine in a Vette, the 454, cosmetic body and interior upgrades, plus the appeal of a short production run due to an infamous GM strike at the time. All in all, only 17,316 Corvettes were built, 25% being endowed with the LS5 454/390 optional engine. This White Coupe is equipped with the matching numbers Big Block engine having the correct suffix CGW (454/390, Automatic transmission) and the VIN present on the engine pad. It is mated with the Automatic transmission, other options including Power Steering, Power Brakes, tilt-tele steering column, AM/FM radio. Car was in one family since the 80s and was properly maintained with lots of new parts recently installed: new brakes, new tires, new starter, shocks, Power Steering unit..) Original miles are around 83K, new speedo was installed, as the old one has quit working at 83K as seen in pic. Speedo works, tachometer works, gauges too, except clock.
